Admission to Cascade Canyon School is available year-round as space permits, although priority is given to families who apply by February 5. Admission is based on an evaluation of your child's previous school history (if applicable), a family interview, and your child's participation in a typical school day. We also strongly encourage applicant families to attend at least one Parent Tour and Open House to learn more about Cascade Canyon School, meet our teachers and familiarize yourself with our school philosophy.
As our Kindergarten program tends to fill quickly, we strongly recommend that Kindergarten applications are received by February 5 so that your child can be considered in our first round of admissions decisions. Families seeking tuition assistance (see below) must also submit their school application at this time.
Students entering Kindergarten must be five years old by December 1. However, following the changes in California law, the cut-off date for Kindergarten admission in 2012 will be 5 years old by November 1st; in 2013, it will be 5 years old by October 1st; and in 2014, it will be 5 years old by September 1st.

Tuition for the 2012/2013 school year will be set in February.
Cascade Canyon School will be offering a few partial scholarships for the school year 2012-2013 for families in need of tuition assistance. Cascade Canyon contracts with a third party program called SSS, which is offered through the National Association of Independent Schools, to review each family's financial data and tax forms. Families who are new to the school must meet the priority application deadline for Cascade Canyon School of Sunday, February 5, 2012 in order to be considered for tuition assistance. The deadline to submit the financial aid application is Saturday, February 18, 2012 although families are urged to submit applications ahead of this date. **Please note that a copy of your 2011 tax forms including your 2011 1040, all supporting schedules, and a copy of all W-2s, must be submitted along with your application (called a PFS) to SSS in order for your application to be considered complete. Families applying for financial aid should plan backwards to ensure that they have filed their 2011 Tax Returns ahead of the financial aid deadline.
